Teeth Whitening Systems

We offer three different systems at our Manchester practice for whiter teeth. This allows us to offer our patients a choice of the best systems available. Which system is best for you depends on cost, convenience, the existing colour of your teeth and what you want to achieve. All of the systems are of the highest quality. All treatment is carried out by dental professionals registered with the General Dental Council. It is the view of the General Dental Council that those not qualified and registered with them should not carry out such treatment. Furthermore many systems used in beauty salons contain chemicals that can permanently damage the enamel of teeth. All the systems we use have been researched and found to be safe.

Professional Home Teeth Whitening System

Custom made trays constructed to fit over teeth

Professional whitening gel supplied for treatment.

The trays are worn with the gel overnight for 14 nights.

At home systems are effective if the trays are worn consistently at night.

It is much more effective than any over the counter products available in the UK.

Will lighten teeth up to 8 shades.

Periodically the trays can be worn with gel for a few nights to top up the colour. Further gel can be purchased separately for this.

Zoom In Surgery Advanced Power Whitening

Light activated whitening system.

One session consisting of three 15 minute cycles of whitening.

Will lighten teeth up to 8 shades.

Cost includes trays and gel for post treatment booster.

BriteSmile In Surgery Teeth Whitening System

 In surgery whitening system which is available at selected practices only.

Provided at Church Road Dental Practice Manchester since 2002.

The treatment was developed by a former NASA scientist. It is a light activated whitening system.

One session consisting of four 20 minute cycles of whitening.

Clinical tests have shown the treatment to be both effective and safe.

Improvements of up to 8 to 14 shades can be achieved with darker teeth showing the biggest improvements.

A home maintenance kit is included in the cost which consists of custom trays and whitening gel for up to nine nights enough for two years maintenance.
